As we look forward to the beginning of a new academic year, I would like to remind everyone of the following opening year events:
Convocation Ceremony
10:15 – 10:30 Faculty and Staff Arrival for Welcome Chute- A&E Center
Faculty and staff will form a welcome chute to greet new students as they arrive at the A&E Center. Please report to the arena floor and volunteers will be there to assist you.
11:00 – noon Convocation
Glazer Arena, Athletic & Events Center
Noon – 2:00 Community Picnic
Glazer Arena, Athletic & Events Center
To include: Dancing on the Green hosted by Assistant Professor Daniel Gwirtzman from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at 1:00pm (Higgins Field, behind the A&E Center).
I encourage all faculty and staff who are able to attend these important events as we welcome our new students and set the tone for their education here at Ithaca College.
