Dear Ithaca College Faculty and Staff,
On Saturday, August 19, we shared with our Ithaca College community the sad news of the passing of longtime professor of screen studies Patricia Zimmermann. In this message, we mentioned that more details would be forthcoming regarding on-site counseling support through Ithaca College’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available for faculty and staff seeking assistance in processing their grief.
EAP will have a counseling representative on-site at the Park School of Communications Room #327 on Monday, August 21, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, August 22, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The EAP representative is available to all faculty and staff from across campus.
As a reminder, faculty and staff can also access virtual counseling services through the EAP by calling 1-800-327-2255.
Please take good care and keep Patty and her loved ones in your thoughts as our community continues to process the sorrow of this tremendous loss.
