Facilities Services Appreciation Week is celebrated each fall during the month of September. Recognized worldwide as Housekeeper Appreciation Week since 1981, this program honors the efforts and dedication of professionals who maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for their colleagues and the public. Here at Ithaca College, we will be celebrating this important time the week of September 11th - 15th.
At Ithaca College, the valued Facilities Services team deserves recognition not only for their outstanding hard work to clean, disinfect, move, store and set-up areas to ensure our work environments are comfortable and safe, but also for their demonstrated ability to react quickly and efficiently for our campus community. This team is always front and center, and I am proud of their collective performance, dedication, and “can-do” attitude.
I invite you to join me in sincerely thanking the Facilities Services team members for their hard work, institutional loyalty, and dedicated service. This team has and will continue to play a critical role in the health, safety, and operational success of our campus community, and for that, I am sincerely appreciative for their efforts every day.
