Celebrate Banned Book Week (Oct 1st to 7th) with Ithaca College Library

What do Dr. Seuss, Maya Angelou, and Stephen King have in common?  They all wrote books that were banned or challenged.

You are invited to participate in a Banned Book Read Out on Tuesday, October 3rd from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Gannett Center’s Handwerker Gallery.

Sign up to read today!  https://forms.office.com/r/sESJiZynXf

At the event,  mention why you chose the piece and then read for up to 6 minutes.  It can be international in scope and include journalistic pieces, non-fiction, or fiction books.  You are even welcome to read in another language.
