The Center for Student Success has created a series of short surveys to solicit student voices throughout the year and their time at Ithaca College. With these short surveys, we aim to improve the student experience by taking the campus pulse, learning more about the student experience, and supporting students in living their best college life.
One of these mini surveys was sent to all students this week via email (success@ithaca.edu). While IC has long conducted an early survey for incoming students, this survey is unique in attempting to identify areas of support needed by all our undergraduate students.
- We commit to supporting students. Students can ask a member of the student success team to contact them about their responses or can opt-in to receiving info about campus resources.
- We commit to respecting not just student choice, but privacy. The Student Success team may connect them with an appropriate resource who will not be able to see a student’s full survey results.
- We also commit to sharing the trends we discover with students, along with the actions we are taking to maximize IC’s resources and optimize the student experience.
