FOR ALL STAFF AND FACULTY:
The Contract Review Process is a requirement that applies to all individuals negotiating or signing contracts, or accepting contract terms, on behalf of the College. All qualifying Ithaca College contracts must be reviewed through the Contract Review Process before they are signed.
The underlying CONTRACT REVIEW AND APPROVAL POLICY can be found in Section 2.41 of the Ithaca College Policy Manual.
HOW DO YOU SUBMIT A CONTRACT FOR REVIEW?
Submit your contract for review by either of the options below:
- Complete the Contract Review Request Form (in TeamDynamix)
- or from within TeamDynamix:
- Select Services in the menu bar
- Select the category Projects and Professional Services
- Select the Service, Contract Review
- Select Submit Contract Review (Green button in sidebar)
Each request submission should allow four weeks for review before its initial return is needed, allowing for legal, risk management, IT, and business purpose review.

WHO CAN SIGN a contract for ithaca college?
Contract Signatory Authorities are delegated to the individuals named on this published chart through the President and Vice Presidents of the College.
All Signatories are responsible for:
- Acting in the best interest of the college
- Affirming a prudent contract purpose and appropriate planning by the 'contract owner'
- Making approval decisions based on informed risk assessments
- Compliance with 2.41 Contract Review and Approval Policy
- Signing contracts only within the scope of their designated dollar limits and contract types
Contracts that are signed by individuals without a formal delegation of signature authority may result in the signer’s personal liability, putting both the individual and the College at risk.
OVerall Purpose
The purpose of the Contract Review Policy and the Signatory Authority process is to avoid the formation of contracts that may inadvertently jeopardize the welfare of the College or any of us in the College Community. Thank you for working together and helping to protect Ithaca College!
