Hillel at Ithaca is planning on putting up a sukkah at Muller Chapel! We are so excited for our Sushi in the Sukkah event on Friday, September 29th at 7pm, following our 6pm religious services. Hillel will also be holding a 'Shukkah in the Sukkah' on the evening of October 4th, where a mock Middle Eastern bazaar will be constructed in our sukkah. Students will have the chance to get produce, falafel, Judaic-themed jewelry and more! We will also have an Israel-inspired 'Cafe Aroma' stand where students get can Middle East style tea, coffee and slushees available. To cap off our Sukkot celebrations, there will be a Silent Disco with Israeli music and party vibes! These events are always free and have great food, so feel free to bring your friends!
