The Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance continues its 2023–24 theatre production season with the Tony Award-winning musical “Disney’s Newsies.” This production will be directed by Cynthia Henderson and choreographed by Daniel Gwirtzman, with music direction by Jeff Theiss.

With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman, and book by Harvey Fierstein, this high-energy show tells the inspiring story of newsboys in 19th-century New York City. It is a thrilling tale of camaraderie, determination, the fight for workers’ rights, and celebrating resilience and unity.
