A Virtual Walk Through LONDON with Dr. Meghan Callahan, London Center Director - Tues. 10/24, 6pm, Textor 103

By Rachel Gould, October 19, 2023

A group of Ithaca College students on the bank of the River Thames in London on a class excursion. They have gone "mudlarking" (finding lost and historical objects in the muddy banks of the Thames), and are displaying their finds on the ground in front of them.

Dr. Meghan Callahan, London Center Director (3rd from right), poses with a group of students on the bank of the Thames River during a class excursion.

Dr. Meghan Callahan, Director of the Ithaca College London Center, will be visiting campus this week from October 23-28.  As part of her visit, Dr. Callahan is inviting interested students, staff, and faculty to join her on an imagined walk through London on Tuesday, October 24, 6:00 pm in Textor 103.  She'll be sharing some of her favorite historic (and contemporary) places in London, and will be available afterwards for questions about studying at the London Center.

If you're considering a semester or summer in London, this is a great way to learn more about the city and the program!  London Center classes frequently incorporate city walks and excursions to sites throughout London as a means to enhance learning and immerse students in all the city has to offer. This session will give you a taste of what a London class is like.  Come learn more about what the program has to offer and enjoy a virtual evening in London!
