Dear Faculty and Staff:
We are writing to respond to concerns regarding the PrudentRx program for the Ithaca College High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
The Office of Human Resources takes the concerns of the Ithaca College community seriously and several concerns were recently brought forward related to the PrudentRx program and its implementation for the High Deductible Health Plan in 2024.
As a result of further review of the PrudentRx program and the additional details we have learned related to how the program operates, a decision has been made to pause the implementation of this program for the HDHP.
As always, we will continue to assess options and programs available to our participants in an effort to provide benefits that are best in class and cost effective for our employees and the college. And we look forward to our continued partnership with the Faculty and Staff Benefits Committee on the evaluation of such programs.
Open enrollment remains open until Friday, November 10th, and employees may make changes to their benefits up until 5:00 pm that day. Please feel free to contact the Office of Human Resources at 607-274-8000 or humanresources@ithaca.edu with any questions or if assistance is needed in enrolling in your benefits.
