Dear Ithaca College Community,  
 
I write now to share with you the messages I just sent to the undergraduate and graduate members of the Class of 2024 announcing the college’s plans for their respective Commencement and Graduate Hooding and Commencement celebrations.  
 
Preparation is already well underway for two in-person, on-campus celebrations. First, our Graduate Hooding and Commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm ET to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our graduate students. The next day, on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. ET, our undergraduate students will be celebrated at a single Commencement ceremony. Both events will be held inside the Athletics and Events Center's Glazer Arena.  
 
Though we are still months away from these moments, I want to offer my gratitude to this community for supporting these students as they finish their time with us on South Hill and offer my thanks particularly to the many staff and faculty whose work and creativity will make May’s celebrations safe, student-centered, and joyous.
