Dear Campus Community,

We are pleased to share with our campus community some exciting news related to the Student Affairs and Campus Life department previously known as Ithaca College’s Office of Case Management. Effective immediately, this key office within our student support framework will be named the Office of ICare and Student Support.

The decision to undertake a renaming of the office came after careful consideration and evaluation. The driving rationale behind the name change was to better align the office’s core responsibilities as the administrative and coordinating body for the ICare referral process. We believe that the new name better encapsulates the essence of the office and its values, emphasizing our dedication to providing compassionate and comprehensive support for students. 

The Office of ICare and Student Support remains steadfast in its mission to provide timely assistance to students facing various challenges while navigating their personal journeys at IC. It will continue to work closely with our larger network of campus partners who support the ICare process, including: Office of Residential Life and Student Conduct and Community Standards, Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, Center for Health Promotion, Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, Student Accessibility Services, Student Health Services, Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, Title IX Office, Academic Deans, and the Dean of Students for Student Affairs and Campus Life.

We respectfully ask all campus partners who may have a reference to the former Office of Case Management on any departmental webpages or associated media materials to please take a moment to review and update as needed to reflect the office’s name change to the Office of ICare and Student Support and new URL to the office’s website: https://www.ithaca.edu/icare-and-student-support. You can also follow the office on Instagram at its updated handle: @IC_ICare.
