As we near the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, Ithaca College will have some alterations to the typical services, resources, and hours of operation of campus spaces during the November Break (November 18-November 26). If you are a student remaining on campus during the break, please be aware that many areas will have limited hours and/or will be closed during this period.
Please note that this list is not comprehensive and may not encompass every area that will changes to its typical hours or services during the November Break period. For more information on a particular office or service that is not listed, please visit their website and/or contact that office directly.

Ithaca College Dining Services
Ithaca College Dining Services will have significant updates to its hours of operation beginning on Saturday, November 18, and extending through the duration of the November Break to Sunday, November 26.
Saturday, November 18 – Sunday, November 19
All dining halls and retail food locations on campus will be closed.
Monday November 20 – Tuesday, November 21
There will be limited dining operations available only through the Ithaca Bakery retail location inside IC Square in the Campus Center. Ithaca Bakery will be open for breakfast and lunch service between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. All other dining halls and retail locations on campus will remain closed.
Wednesday, November 22 – Saturday, November 25
All dining halls and retail food locations on campus will be closed.
Sunday, November 26
Dining services will resume operations with dinner service only at the Terrace Dining Hall from 5:00-9:00 p.m. All other dining and retail locations will remain closed.
Monday, November 27
Normal hours of operation resume.

Ithaca College Food Pantry
The Ithaca College Food Pantry will be open and have a revised schedule for hours of operation during the November Break. Students remaining on campus during the break, as well as staff and faculty who utilize the pantry are encouraged to plan ahead and stock up on items to ensure food access while the college is closed. The Food Pantry will be waiving its one-bag limit during this period to ensure enough food can be stocked up for the week.
Prunty’s Pantry hours of operation will be as follows:
Monday, November 20: CLOSED
Tuesday, November 21: 12:15-2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 22: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 23: CLOSED
Friday, November 24: 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Fitness Center
The Ithaca College Fitness Center will be closing at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, and will remained closed for the entirety of the November Break period. Regular Fitness Center hours of operation will resume on Monday, November 27.

Health Center
Cayuga Health at Ithaca College at the Hammond Health Center will be closed during the November Break from Saturday, November 18, through Sunday, November 26. Students needing care during this period should seek off-campus options. Please note that the college will not be offering its Medicar service during this period. If you are experiencing a medical emergency please refer to the Emergencies and After Hours Care page to see how you should proceed.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
The Office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will have normal hours of operation on Monday, November 20, and Tuesday, November 21, and will be available for virtual appointments. Please note that CAPS is not licensed to host virtual appointments with any student who is not currently in New York State.
CAPS will be closed Wednesday, November 22, through Sunday, November 26. During this period, individuals are always able to utilize the CAPS After-Hours On-Call Service, which is available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. To reach this service, please dial (607) 274-3136 and follow the prompts. This service is available to all individuals regardless if their current location is within or outside of New York State.

The Ithaca College Campus Center will have changes to its normal open hours during the November Break. The hours of operation will be as follows:
Friday, November 17: Close at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 18 – Sunday, November 19: CLOSED
Monday, November 20 – Tuesday, November 21: 7:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Wednesday, November 22 – Sunday, November 26: CLOSED
Regular hours of operation for the Campus Center will resume on Monday, November 27.

Office of Residential Life
There will be a limited number of Residential Life staff present on campus throughout the November Break to address lock-outs and other support requests. Please refer to the duty schedule on the entrance doors of each building for more information about the Resident Assistant (RA) or Apartment Assistant (AA) covering your area of campus. All students residing on campus during the November Break are required to complete the November (Thanksgiving) Break Occupancy Request Form. The Office of Residential Life will be officially closed from Wednesday, November 22, through Sunday, November 26.

Several departments in the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life may have slight changes to their hours of operation or typical services during the November Break. These include, but may not be limited to: Office of New Student and Transition Programs, First Generation Center, MLK Scholars Program, BIPOC Unity Center, Student Accessibility Services, Center for LGBT Education, Outreach and Services, Office of ICare and Student Support, and the Office of Student Engagement. Please note that these offices will be closed from Wednesday, November 22, through Sunday, November 26.
