Opioid Overdose Prevention: Naloxone Training and Kits

The SouthernTier AIDS Program and the Healing Hearts Collaborative will be on-campus in the Campus Center North Foyer providing brief 5-minute training and distributing Naloxone (Narcan) kits to anyone that is interested in learning more about how to provide life saving care to an individual that is overdosing on opioids (such as Oxycontin, Vicodin or heroin).

The event is free and open to all (students and employees). Anyone that would like to learn more about opioid overdose prevention, how to administer Naloxone and receive a free Naloxone kit can attend the event any time between 10:30am and 1:30pm.

This event is hosted by the Alcohol & Other Drugs Team and endorsed by the Center for Health Promotion, Ithaca College Responsibility, JED Campus Committee, and the Prevention Education Network.
