The Slow Read Initiative is growing - six Slow Reads are being offered in Spring 2023 - and popularity - almost every seat is already taken. Many faculty report that facilitating a Slow Read is a wonderful experience that returns them to their original motivation to become a professor. All faculty colleagues are invited to participate. Think about a "big book," piece of art, film, or music with which you'd like to spend a semester with curious students. You may just rediscover the joy of teaching.
