Important changes and upgrades related to Canvas and external tools are coming soon! These changes may impact your Canvas courses for the upcoming term. Please take note of the following updates:
Perusall Integration:
We have recently upgraded the Canvas Perusall integration to LTI 1.3, providing enhanced functionality and improved user experience. However, be aware that the previous version, LTI 1.1, is still installed in Canvas. When creating new content, please select "Perusall' rather than the outdated tool 'Perusall 1.1 (old)'.
LTI 1.1 will be decommissioned and removed as an option shortly after the end of this semester.
Pearson MyLab and Mastery:
We are pleased to announce that Pearson MyLab and Mastery has been upgraded to LTI 1.3 integration within Canvas. Going forward, it will be referred to as 'Access Pearson' within Canvas menus and activity options. This upgrade brings numerous benefits, including improved security measures, enhanced features, and better compatibility with Canvas.
Kaltura Media:
Kaltura LTI integration with Canvas will be upgraded to LTI 1.3 at the beginning of the new year. Navigation menu names may change at that time, but any existing embedded Kaltura media should continue to function as normal. Please keep an eye on Intercom for updated status and further release notes and documentation.
