Clothing Drive for the Career Center Career Closet!

The Center for Career Exploration and Development (CCED) is seeking gently worn professional attire for their Career Closet in preparation for the upcoming Career Closet Fashion Show! This event is a part of a weeklong series of events, panels, and workshops known as Career Opportunities Week (COW) that promotes professionalism and career readiness. This year’s festivities occur during the last week of February and centralize on the topic of creating your personal brand.

While all professional attire is appreciated, there is a need for the following items:

  • Men's khakis (large sizes, over 40-inch waists)

  • Men’s polos (all sizes)

  • Women’s bottoms (sizes x-small or 0)

  • Women’s cardigans (all sizes)

  • Men’s shoes (all sizes)

  • Women’s shoes (all sizes)

The Career Closet allows students to borrow business and business-casual attire, free of charge, for job interviews and other professional events. The Career Closet strives to make professional attire more accessible to our student population. Continued donations from the campus community help drive the success and longevity of this initiative.

If able to donate, please drop off items at the Career Center’s main office (Muller 101) during normal business hours Mon-Fri 9-5. If you have questions, please contact Brielle Long (blong3@ithaca.edu) or Ashley Troutman (atroutman@ithaca.edu) directly. Thank you in advance for your support!
