CIEE Study Abroad, one of IC's affiliated study abroad partners, will be reviewing applications soon for their Douglass-O'Connell Global Internship program for Summer 2024. Ten diverse student leaders will be selected to participate in a transformative summer internship in Dublin, Ireland, where they will draw inspiration from the legacies of two remarkable social justice leaders: Frederick Douglass and Daniel O'Connell. The program runs June 14-August 10, 2024.

For the ten students who are selected, the experience is almost fully funded, including airfare.  Douglass-O'Connell global interns pay for their own meals during the program and any free time activities. The award covers the cost of airfare, housing, field trips, and an academic course taught by CIEE.

For every eligible student who applies and is not selected, each will automatically qualify for a $1,500 scholarship that can be used toward any CIEE Summer Global Internship program in 2024 or 2025.
