Infant Developmental Play Group and Pediatric Occupational Therapy Openings at the IC OT/PT Clinic

Pediatric occupational therapy can support development of play and learning skills, feeding and mealtime success, and adaptation to motor and sensory differences. At the IC OT/PT clinic, OT students and a faculty member experienced in pediatric practice work closely with caregivers and children using a play-based model to address challenges that affect behavior, daily routines such as mealtime or bedtime, or participation in play and other activities of daily living.

We currently have an opening for an individual pediatric OT client on Wednesdays from 9:15 to 10 AM. This session would include an OT faculty supervised evaluation, treatment planning, and student led treatment for a child aged birth to 5 years and their parent or caregiver.

We will also be running a developmental play group for infants and toddlers on Fridays from 10:15-11:00 AM.  This group will provide developmental screening for infants and toddlers and OT student led activities that will strengthen developmental skills and facilitate caregiver connections through participation in fun play activities.

If you’d like more information or are interested in either activity, please contact Kim Wilkinson, PhD, OTR/L at KWILKINSON@ITHACA.EDU.
