The Writing Center cordially invites you to bring your classes to our week-long Open House! During a 45-minute session with each class, current Writing Center tutors will share information about the work and mission of the Center, help students make accounts in our appointment system, and engage your class in reflection activities about their writing process and needs. We'll also share how your students can apply to be tutors themselves!
Faculty will get tips on what you can do in your classes to prepare students for their appointments. You'll leave these Open House visits with resources & handouts as well as updates about Center policies, including ChatGPT and academic integrity policies.
Make your Open House appointment at the following Qualtrics link. You'll bring your students to the Writing Center, in Smiddy 107, at the time of your appointment.
