Several People Are Typing was selected for the Good Morning, America Book Club in 2021.

Ithaca College alumnus Calvin Kasulke '13 will be visiting campus on Friday, February 2 from 4 to 5 PM in Smiddy 432 to speak with students interested in writing, publishing, and life after graduation. A self-desccribed "writer, podcast producer and transsexual menace living in Brooklyn," he is the author of the debut novel Several People Are Typing (Doubleday, 2021), which was selected for the Good Morning, America Book Club. The novel, told entirely in the form of a Slack chat, follows Gerald, a PR guy who unfortunately gets lost in the Internet. Carmen Maria Machado called it "[a]n absurd, hilarious romp through the haunted house of late-stage capitalism."

All are welcome to this informal Q&A. Join us for Friday afternoon snacks and conversation.
