New Student and Transition Programs at Ithaca College is hiring two Orientation Assistants for the summer! We are looking for recent (or soon to be) college graduates or current graduate students to bring their enthusiasm, creativity, and planning skills to help plan a fun, inclusive Orientation for incoming IC students. The position runs from the end of May through the end of August and includes housing in a Garden Apartment (all to yourself!) with parking, laundry, and Fitness Center access. Additionally, meals will be covered during Orientation Leader Training, Fall Orientation, and a few meetings throughout the summer. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Event planning experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking
- Ability to effectively work within and actively support a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, particularly during Fall Orientation in August
