Winners of the 2024 Concerto Competition, which took place on Sunday, 28 January, 2024, have been selected. They will be featured on this semester’s final Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra concert on 5 May 2024, at 4pm in Ford Hall in the Whalen Center for Music, conducted by Prof. Ho-Yin Kwok.
The winners are: Justus Crow and Noor Rouhana. Mr. Crow, a student of Dr. Eric Troiano, will perform the Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra by Henri Tomasi. Ms. Rouhana, a student of Prof. Christina Bouey, will perform the Concerto in D major, Op. 77 for Violin and Orchestra by Johannes Brahms.
