After a brief time off, Ithaca College's Educational Technology Day is returning and will celebrate its 30th year on Thursday, March 21, 2024 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm). We invite IC Student Clubs, Faculty, and Staff to apply to participate in the College Showcase.
What is Ed Tech Day?
For 29 years the Ed Tech Day event at Ithaca College served as an important gathering of over 1000 people from across the region to explore the uses of technology in K-12 and higher education. 2024 marks the 30th year of Ed Tech Day.
The event is free to attend and includes a Vendor Exhibit Hall, Featured Speakers, the Teaching & Learning with Technology Symposium, Sessions, Special Tours of campus spaces, and the College Showcase. As technology continues to play an increasingly integral role in how we teach, learn, and work, we recognize that opportunities to come together to share ideas and strategies are more important than ever, and we’re committed to continuing to provide such opportunities for our campus community and colleagues in the region.
What is the College Showcase?
The College Showcase is located in the hallway outside Emerson Suites, where members of the IC community share the work they are doing that includes technology innovation. Displays may include posters, project examples, equipment, or a laptop and display to showcase online demonstrations. Past displays included virtual reality in education, the Drone Squad, Women in Computing, and Human Resources sharing the new HCM Oracle system.
