Brainstorm with AI: Getting Fresh Ideas for Teaching
Thursday, February 22, 2:45-3:45pm
- Teaching.tools was developed to help faculty translate evidence-informed pedagogical research into easy-to-use online tools. The “Brainstorming Tool” allows you to put in your lecture topic and select from AI-powered ideas for objectives, effective lecture topics, discussion questions and case studies. The Plan a Lesson tool allows you to design structured lessons. The Active Learning Library allows you to choose a goal and get suggestions for student engagement or offer student metacognition. IC faculty Deb Wuest and Patrick McKeon have experimented with this tool and want to share what they have learned. Come to this session to see if it is something you want to try.
