We are looking for a few more instructors to teach either our College: Learning to Learn or Community: The People and Places of IC courses this summer for our IC Advantage program. We are also looking for a few more Deep Dive course proposals (send an engaging course description and title to ehowd@ithaca.edu); these courses take a deep dive into a specific topic, like Meditation or Fairy Tales.
The 2024 IC Advantage Program will occur between July 08 and August 09, 2024 this summer. These are one-credit, pass/fail, online: synchronous, learning experiences that help prepare our incoming class of first-years with a sense of community and a better understanding of how to learn at Ithaca College. Classes meet via Zoom, face-to-face, in two weekly 75-minute sessions, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.
Compensation is set at the College-Wide Additional Pay Rate of $1884.51 (the standard rate for a one-credit course in summer).
