Ithaca College JED Campus Initiative is promoting resources to inform the campus about high risk substance use. Please stop by the Campus Center North Foyer on Tuesday, September, 27th from 1 pm to 4 pm. Those who attend can build a free self-care kit including items such as fentanyl and xylazine testing strips, fidget and stress management tools, BAC cards and more. A raffle of items will be available for those who download or use the Sanvello app.

Get informed about High Risk Substance Use
Screen Yourself with this QR Code
Any member of the Ithaca College Community is able to screen themselves at anytime using the Substance Use Screening Tool.
Students that would like to talk more about their substance use are encouraged to schedule free and confidential BASICS appointments with the Center for Health Promotion (CHP). Or students needing support with other mental health concerns are encouraged to contact the Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS); faculty and staff needing assistance are encouraged to contact the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
For students that would like to receive more in-depth personalized feedback about their substance use, they can complete this free screening tool at any time (available on the CHP website). Our campus community also has access to a wide variety of mental health screenings by visiting this page of screening tools, (available on the CAPS homepage).
The campus community also has access to the Sanvello wellness app for free. It will assist you in managing stress, anxiety, depression and build resiliency.
Stop & Breathe Week is February 26th to March 3rd
In addition to the Awareness Event, we'll be promoting Stop & Breathe Events. It is not too late to submit an event. Members of JED will be tabling in the Campus Center Main Lobby from 12 pm to 2 pm on 28 and 29th of February. You can collect your EXCLUSIVE Stop & Breathe goose sticker at the table!
