The application for the 2024-2026 Student Trustee position is officially open! The Student Trustee is a full voting member of the Ithaca College (IC) Board of Trustees, the governing body and chartered legal entity for the Ithaca College. As Student Trustee, you bring your own voice, unique perspective, and knowledge of student concerns and issues to the board! It is a great opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of this institution, and to gain leadership experience. The Student Trustee also serves as an ex-officio member of the Student Governance Council (SGC), which is the sole representative body for the Ithaca College student community.
To be eligible for the Student Trustee role, you must be a full-time or part-time student at Ithaca College. Additionally, you must be in good judicial and academic standing. The Student Trustee position is a two-year term. Students applying to this role must be committed to remaining on campus at Ithaca College for the entire duration of the position.
