How will AI transform higher education? This isn't just a question for the future; the changes have already begun - An Ed Tech Day Featured Session

Ann Forman Lippens, Managing Director and Abhilash Panthagani, Associate Director of Research from the Education Advisory Board (EAB), will lead a discussion titled, "How will AI transform education?  This isn't just a question for the future-the changes have already begun" at 9 AM on Thursday, March 21st in the Klingenstein Lounge. 

Join this session to learn how to navigate the hype around AI and figure out what it means for your faculty, staff, students and your insitution.  EAB experts will discuss:

  • Why ChatGPT and other generative AI tools mark a new era in AI capabilities
  • The Transformative ways AI will impact higher ed; highlighting case studies of the most innovative examples found within and outside of higher education
  • How leaders across the cabinet are considering the potential risks and rewards of AI
  • Practical guidance around the foundational steps (e.g., staffing, data management) institutions will need to take to enable and support AI innovation across campus
