The Central NY Chapter of the Fulbright Association is sponsoring a free lecture: Making and Unmaking Women; Visual Art and Femicide in Contemporary Turkish Society by recent Fulbright alumna Leyla Tonak.
Leyla Tonak, a recipient of the US Student Fulbright for Turkey, will be presenting a zoom talk on the epidemic of femicide through the lens of visual art as political response, history mapping and a method of healing.
