Join us for “Building Supportive Structures in First-Year Classes," dedicated to exploring ways instructors can best support first-year students using course design. In this session, faculty presenters Tamara Acosta, Rebecca Brady, and Amy Quan will showcase various strategies and best practices for first-year classes. Topics will include grading system options, ways to promote active study techniques, and resources to help students learn course material. We hope you will join us to explore ways to create more supportive learning environments for your first-year students, regardless of course topic.
