The Community Service Committee is hosting an event on Monday, April 22nd, from 3-6pm to invite service organizations to campus and share opportunities for students who are considering service/volunteering post-graduation.
As part of this event, we would like to host a panel featuring IC faculty/staff who did service/volunteer work, for example, PeaceCorps, AmeriCorps, FrancisCorps, City Year, Teach for America, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, WWOOFing, GreenCorps, Habitat for Humanity, or others! The panel portion will take place from 3pm-4pm and food will be provided. If you served in one of these organizations and are interested in speaking on a panel to current students, please email Sam Elebiary at selebiary@ithaca.edu by Friday, March 22nd. We hope to expose students to opportunities they may not be aware of and share the impact these experiences have had on our personal and professional lives.
