Jimena Pons Ganddini (Guatemala, 1984), has a degree in Design, Communication and Advertising, with a master's degree in Editorial Design. She is founder and editor of Casa editorial 19-84 (literature, art and genre books, under the concept of short runs), and Saliva zine (Latin American literature zine). Co-founder and Art Director at Workaholic design studio, co-founder of Plomo magazine and art director for PelĂculas Mandrake and co-founder of ArdorSoft, cultural center and spontaneous gallery.
She has been finalist with two editorial projects in the 16th. Iberoamerican Design Biennial and finalist with another editorial project in the 18th Iberoamerican Design Biennial. She has been published in the book La Tina, which gathers the work of the best 175 graphic designers in Latin America.
Her design is based mainly on typographic management to solve the problems posed, to make attractive social issues that are not easy to digest and to highlight the power of words in literature. She works with projects related to art, literature and social impact for different countries in Latin America.
