Nominations for Faculty Excellence Awards Extended to Monday, March 25

Nominations for Faculty Excellence Awards have been extended to Monday, March 25, 11:59 PM.

The Office of the Provost, the Center for Faculty Excellence, and the Faculty Development Committee invite nominations for Ithaca College’s annual Faculty Excellence Awards. Eight awards across four categories will be conferred. All faculty are eligible to be nominated. The deadline for submitting all nominating materials has been extended to March 25, 2024 (11:59 PM). Please refer to the Faculty Excellence Award website for more information on submission requirements and how to submit via the FEA Submission Site.

The FDC attempts to assure balance among schools, disciplines, areas of excellence, rank, and track. Both self-nominations and nominations of others will be accepted. Each award recipient will receive $1,125.

Types of awards include: Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Service, Excellence in Scholarship/Creative Work, and Overall Excellence in Teaching, Service, and Scholarship.

Eligibility of nominees includes the following criteria: faculty of any rank (adjunct, lecturer, instructor, assistant, associate, or full professor) and any track (tenure, tenure eligible, NTEN, or contingent), as well as not having received a Faculty Excellence Award within the past five years. See the Faculty Excellence Award website for full eligibility criteria and submission materials.
