Spring 2024 Mid-Term Grading Deadline

Midterm Grading

Will be available in HomerConnect beginning, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, for full term classes.

(Please note: midterm grading is not available for block courses).

Midterm grades are due by 10:00 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

This is an opportunity to prepare for easy final grading by ensuring that:

  • You can access HomerConnect;
  • Are all the students attending your class on your class roster?
  • Are all the students on your class roster attending your class?
  • If you are teaching PALS, confirm your students are participating in the appropriate sport.

Midterm Grades: Required

“It is College policy that by the midpoint of each semester all students be evaluated in each course in which they have enrolled. The method of evaluation is to be determined by each faculty member. This assessment is reflected in a midterm grade submitted to the Office of the Registrar in accordance with the schedule published by that office. The only exception to this policy is in those block courses that conclude inhalf asemester.

Deans and directors deal with this policy as it relates to the individual faculty members and courses within their school.”

Midterm grade requirements can be found in the college catalog.

  • Log into HomerConnect
  • Click on Faculty Grade Entry
  • Select Midterm grade tab
  • Select Class
  • Enter Midterm Grades
  • Save

Midterm grades can be changed and adjusted until 10:00 pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Midterm grades do not have a grade change form in IC workflow.
