The Department of History invites the IC community to a talk and Q&A about one of the most contentious political issues of 2024, immigration. "A Golden Door? U.S. Immigration Past and Present" will feature Professor Jaclyn Kelley-Widmer of Cornell Law School and Professor Michael Smith of the Department of History for an overview of immigration history and current policy. The talk is Tuesday, Apr. 16 from 5;30-6:30 PM in Textor 103, and is co-sponsored by the Departments of Politics, Sociology, and CSCRE.
