Join the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management self-defense workshop on Monday, April 22nd and Wednesday, April 24th from 4-7 pm!
Participants will have an opportunity to develop a foundation of self-defense and situational awareness skills. The workshop includes educating participants in basic principles, like understanding the physiological effects of the body, risk reduction, and how to create and maintain distance in the event of a confrontation, as well as hands-on training for technique development.
During the second session, you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you have learned during scenarios with real people.
