Dear Campus Community,
We write to you with great excitement, as we approach our much-anticipated Campus Climate Community Presentations, during which representatives from the Rankin Climate team and Campus Climate Survey Committee will share key findings from our Campus Climate Survey completed during the Fall 2023 semester. As we previously announced, we will be hosting two opportunities on Thursday, April 25, for members of our campus community to engage in this next step of the process.
The first community presentation is scheduled to be held during the common hour from 12:10-1:05 p.m. in Emerson Suites. This presentation session will also be livestreamed for individuals who are unable to attend in person. The livestream will be made available to go live on the day of the event. A full recording of this session will also be posted to the Campus Climate website following the completion of the presentation.
The second community presentation on April 25 will be an in-person only session held in Textor 102 from 4:00-5:15 p.m.
During both presentations, representatives from our survey partners at Rankin Climate will spend significant time highlighting the most salient information that is published in our Key Findings Report. In order to provide a transparent look at the results to our campus community in advance of the community presentations, both the Key Findings Report and the Presentation Slides have been published to the Campus Climate website. Please note that you will need to provide your Ithaca College login credentials in order to access each document. If you would like access to view the hard-copy version of the final Key Findings Report, please contact campusclimate@ithaca.edu for more information.
In addition to highlighting key findings, we will also provide an opportunity for members of our campus community to ask questions during a question-and-answer session that will conclude both presentations. Individuals in attendance at both presentations, as well as individuals viewing the livestreamed first session will have an opportunity to share questions they may have for our Rankin Climate representatives.
We have also finalized an anonymous online submission form for members of our campus community to pre-submit questions. In order to allow enough time to review pre-submitted questions and provide responses prior to Thursday, April 25, the online submission form will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 19. You can access the anonymous online submission form at the link below:

Responses to both live questions and pre-submitted questions will be published to the FAQs page on the Campus Climate website.
We hope you will plan to join us during one of these presentation opportunities on April 25 and take an active role in this important step of the process, as we look to engage our community in developing action plans to address these findings and turn intention into action.
Sincerely,
The Campus Climate Committee Co-Chairs
Belisa González, Dean of Faculty Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
Luca Maurer, Executive Director for Student Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
Judith Pena-Shaff, Professor and Chair, Department of Psychology
