ICAMA wins numerous awards at International Collegiate Conference

Nine members of the IC American Marketing Association student chapter attended the 2024 International Collegiate Conference, along with 1500 other students leaders from over 150 collegiate chapters. Out of over 350 eligible chapters, the IC chapter was again rated as one of the top chapters in the country, receiving recognition for Outstanding Community & Social Impact, Outstanding Communications, and Outstanding Fundraising.  ICAMA also earned an Honorable Mention in the Case Competition for their social marketing plan for organizations seeking to expand their sustainability efforts, equivalent to a top 30 placing.   Overall, ICAMA would also rank among the top 30 competing chapters.

In addition, chapter President Thomas Lynde '24 was invited to present with chapter officers from three other schools on "Becoming a Top Small Chapter". The session was attended by over 100 student leaders attending the conference.

No longer qualifying for the "small chapter" category because of an extremely successful year in growing membership, IC was competing against other schools and chapters of all sizes.

Thanks to the 2023/2024 Executive Board, Thomas, Sarah Shenman '26, Nicole Farias '25, Ellie Benedict '25, and Matt Doherty '25. Other students attending the conference included Audra Fitzgerald '26, Allie Granniss '26, Nina Kiria '25, and Megan Stout '27.  And a special thanks to Fall '23 chapter President Rachel Lubell '25 who was unable to attend because of a semester away at the London Center.

Many thanks to the School of Business, the Park School of Communication, the Student Governance Council, and the Office of Student Engagement for helping with trip logistics.
