Dear Ithaca College Community,
We are less than two weeks away from our much-anticipated retirement celebration to honor our esteemed Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Life, Bonnie Solt Prunty. We share this message to update our campus community regarding a location change for the celebration, which will now to be held in the Clark and Klingenstein Lounges, and weather permitting on the Campus Center Patio, located on the second level of the Campus Center.
We would also like to share a final reminder regarding the Tribute video we plan to share with Bonnie as a keepsake as we bid her farewell to a happy retirement from Ithaca College. If you would like to make a submission, we kindly ask that you do so by no later than Wednesday, May 1, so that it can be included in the final video. Please share your favorite memories, gratitude, or well wishes for her retirement journey. You can access the tribute link here: Tribute Link.
Lastly, we also would like to share a reminder about a fundraiser opportunity in Bonnie's honor we are running in conjunction with her retirement celebration. The Student Emergency Relief Fund, which Bonnie first established, provides crucial support to students in need. It is one of Bonnie's treasured professional contributions and an enduring testament to her legacy at IC. In honor of her retirement, we are encouraging donations to support this important resource. If you are unable to attend in person on May 10, donations can be made on our Giving website (use the drop down menu to select "Greatest Need: Student Emergency Relief Fund"). Those attending in person can donate at the event. All donations over $25 made during the event will receive a limited edition commemorative BonnieCon gift as a token of our appreciation for your donation.
