As previously announced in Intercom, the division of Information Technology and Analytics would like to remind the campus community that a new version of Microsoft Teams was made available in December 2023 and enabled by default on March 12, 2024. If you have not yet transitioned to the new version of Teams, we encourage you to upgrade as soon as possible.
Classic Teams No Longer Available After Mid-May
Microsoft announced an update to the transition plan that the classic Teams app will now be retiring in mid-May, and the option to toggle between classic teams and New Teams will be disabled on a rolling basis. We encourage all Teams users to upgrade to New Teams as soon as possible to familiarize themselves with the new version.
