Hello all,
I am writing to clarify any confusion related to the news from Cayuga Health at Ithaca College (Hammond Health) that was posted on 6/13.
THE CHANGES AT CAYUGA HEALTH DO NOT APPLY TO SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CENTER FOR COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES (CAPS).
We are not integrated with Cayuga Health. We are an IC student service office and CAPS services remain insurance-free and are confidential. WE DO NOT CHARGE FOR SERVICES.
CAPS remains a confidential and supportive resource for students who seek mental health services at Ithaca College.
We are located in the basement of the Hammond Health building (side entrance on parking lot). To make an appointment, call us at 607-274-3136 during daily business hours (M-Th, summer hours). Our after-hours crisis service, also not billed to insurance, can be accessed by calling our number and selecting option #5.
Please feel free to call CAPS if you have any questions or would like clarification related to our services.
Thank you,
Brian Petersen, PsyD
Director, CAPS-IC
