Anthony Di Renzo, Professor of Writing, will read from his new book, Pasquinades: Essays from Rome's Famous Talking Statue: 2:00 PM Saturday, July 20 at North Star Fine Art Gallery (116 East State Street, Ithaca, NY).
This free event (titled "Roman Vistas: Pictures at an Exhibition") accompanies the gallery's current exhibit of Italian works by Brian Keeler. Excerpts from the book will be paired with corresponding paintings of Rome. The reading will be followed by a discussion session and a book sale and signing. All proceeds benefit the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation.
