The Office of Student Engagement would like to recognize and thank the staff and faculty members who attended our Student Organization Advisor Summer Camp last month. Each week in June, advisors representing a diverse array of student groups gathered in the Student Activities Center as Office of Student Engagement staff presented on a range of topics that will assist student organization advisors greatly in their role. These sessions ranged from conversations on handling difficult conversations, understanding student organization finances, and tips and tricks for successful event planning.
Thanks to the student organization advisors who were able to attend and for the amazing work you do for the groups you work with! We'll join together in the Student Activities Center for ice cream again some time soon!
