Online Workshops to Learn About iClicker

As previously announced in the Intercom, Ithaca College is adopting a new student response system (SRS), MacMillian’s iClicker, beginning August 2024. To assist faculty in transitioning to the new system the Center for Instructional Design & Educational Technology (CIE) has partnered with MacMillian Learning to host multiple online webinar sessions.

These group training sessions for Ithaca College are for anyone new to iClicker - from those without any prior knowledge or experience with an SRS to active learning pros moving to iClicker from a different SRS. Even if you're just curious to see what iClicker is and if it will suit your teaching style, come join us! We will cover all the basics to get you up and running, including but not limited to:

  • Account and Course Creation
  • How to Run a Polling Session - our most popular feature!
  • Managing Grading and Other Settings
  • LMS Integration
  • And more...

Here is the Zoom information for the group workshops:

  • Tuesday - 7/30 - 11-12:30 ET
  • Thursday - 8/8 - 1:30-3 ET
  • Monday - 8/12 - 10-11:30 ET
