Present a Student Leadership Institute (SLI) workshop about your passion topic! This opportunity is open to the entire IC community: student, staff, faculty, and community members. Proposals are due Monday, August 12th via this form.
Whether you are a staff or faculty member who wants to share your passion/hobby with the student body or a student who has learned valuable leadership lessons throughout their time at Ithaca College, the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) is always looking for new, interesting presentations to include as leadership workshops. The Student Leadership Institute does not include any "required" workshops so our curriculum changes each semester based on what our campus community wants to teach and learn about! You can read more about our proposal process here.
You might also have an event that you are already planning for the fall semester, and we can collaborate to offer it for SLI credit and increase participation at the event!
You can choose the date and time for your workshop during Block 1 this fall (most workshops are 45-60 minutes long) and there are both in-person and virtual options available. The most important part is that the workshop is interactive, not a lecture-style session.
