To Our Move-In Volunteers,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our staff, faculty and students (including first-year students who participated in Jumpstart, RAs, Orientation Leaders, and student-athletes) for your incredible support during this year's first-year student move. Your dedication, energy, and enthusiasm made a world of difference, not only in the smooth execution of move in, but also in the warm and welcoming atmosphere you created for our new students and their families.
Although I am still quite new to Ithaca College, I am continuously inspired by the ways our community comes together to support one another. The transition to college life can be both exciting and overwhelming for new students, and your efforts have helped to ease that transition, providing comfort and assurance to those just beginning their journey with us here at IC.
The time and care you invested in assisting with move in is truly appreciated, and it did not go unnoticed. Your contributions helped to set a positive tone for the academic year ahead, and you played a crucial role in fostering the sense of belonging that is so essential to our campus community.
Once again, thank you for your hard work, generosity, and commitment to our students and their families.
With sincere appreciation,
Stanley A. Bazile, Ph.D.
Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Life
