Asma Barlas, Professor Emerita of Politics, made a presentation in a webinar on the role of women theologians in challenging violence against women and girls on August 28th. This was hosted by the UK-based Faith and VAWG Coalition which brings together "organisations and activists working at the intersections of faith, race, ethnicity, and violence against women and girls," in order to find effective ways of countering the violence and supporting its victims.
