Recruiting Staff and Faculty members to serve on Student Conduct Review Boards

The Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards is seeking Staff and Faculty Board Members for the 2024-2025 academic year.

This position is an excellent way for members of the campus community to get involved with the Student Conduct Process. Board members play an essential role in helping to maintain a fair, equitable and student learning focused student conduct process. We strive to assist students in becoming positive and successful members of the Ithaca College community.

Conduct Review Board members sit on Conduct Review Board panels and make determinations about whether a student has violated the Code of Conduct. Board members are expected to carefully consider evidence presented during a hearing and determine appropriate case outcomes.

Board members will be trained on asking questions, assessing credibility, and weighing evidence prior to sitting on a board. Members will typically sit on a couple of panels per academic year.
