Park School Television Professor Peter Johanns will screen his documentary "More than a Medal" on Tuesday September 24th at 12:10 in the Park Auditorium. This documentary showcases the athletes and competitions of the New York State Special Olympic Summer Games held at Ithaca College. "More than a Medal" was broadcast on WCNY-TV, Syracuse and is also airing on WXXI, Rochester and WPBS in northern New York. It is expected to be aired on several other PBS stations across the state and the country in the coming months.
Several Park School students assisted Professor Johanns with this production. "More than a Medal" was made possible in part by a James B. Pendleton Grant from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.
